As an ecommerce strategist, I work with clients to establish goals, strategies, objectives and tactics as the specifically pertain to their ecommerce business. I also work in a cross channel capacity with a team of strategists at DEG that span nearly all facets of the digital experience - from social to email to demand generation to creative to integrations. In addition to the strategic work, I also assist directly in projects that our clients are involved in. My deep knowledge of ecommerce practices and platforms provides a clear direction for the project, from inception to development to the launch of the site. This is complemented by my understanding of both Agile and Waterfall based development models which allows me to analyze complex issues from a number of different perspectives - be it the overall goals of a client or the database tables storing their customer records or their marketing tactics that ladder up to their goals.
As a Business Analyst Team Lead my role includes the responsibilities of a Business Analyst plus the responsibilities around developing processes to help move teams toward Agile based development models. My role also includes constructing new documentation frameworks to assist in delivering in a faster and more nimble manner, as well as leading one on ones with other Business Analyst team members, and organizing and facilitating monthly educational and training meetings with Business Analyst team.
Work in a Business Analyst capacity performing client facing work with the company's largest client, a Fortune 100 organization. My role with this client includes a wide range of responsibilities, including gathering requirements for new Magento based websites and features for existing websites, managing timelines, orchestrating sprints and sprint planning processes, managing tickets within sprints, handling client interactions up to and including account management conversations, working with developers to determine optimal solutions for complicated systems including complex and proprietary integrations (between Magento and SAP, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Wordpress, Gigya, Bazaarvoice and more).
Works with a team of 35-40 managers, marketers, bookkeepers and sales associates to forecast and execute monthly, quarterly and annual sales plans for four retail locations and ecommerce site. Reviews quarterly and annual financial statements to make sure financial performance is in-line with expectations, trimming expenses and revising plans as necessary. Develops and executes monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing budgets and plans to find creative new ways to grow the business. Manages nearly all facets of day-to-day business to include sales, training, hiring, firing, legal and HR.
